Chiropractor Salary


A chiropractor salary according to ChiroECO.com and the 11th annual salary and expense survey has been on the rise over the past year. They report the average doctor's net practice income in 2008 was $107,500 up from $88,000 in the previous year.

The total D.C. compensation: this means earnings after tax-deductible expenses but before income taxes. The survey said respondents reported they had a median total compensation of $100,000 in 2008, up from $90,000 in 2007.

Billing and collections:

The 2007 survey reported median average billings of $320,000. The 2008 survey the median increased to $380,000, an increase of 18.8%. Median collections also had an increase from $225,000 to $280,000.

A survey is a picture of time for a profession. This survey shows that being a Doctor of Chiropractic can be a prestigious and rewarding career. Several variables effect a chiropractor's salary, some being how much to charge, insurance reimbursements, and selling of other health products.
