Chiropractor Working Conditions

Chiropractor working conditions vary from office to office but the average chiropractor works in a clinical setting. There are other jobs available for the profession such as research, sports medicine, and teaching.

A chiropractor works with their hands the majority of the time. Other chiropractors work with instrumentation. Electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hydrocollators, ice, and laser modalities are used by most practitioners.

Clinicians are on their feet moving from room to room for most of the day. This profession is definitely not someone who wants a desk job. Chiropractic is a profession that requires the ability to be coordinated, and athletic. Therefore, doctors need to stay in shape and be active to keep up with practice needs.
